I headed to Switzerland on Friday 23rd January, ahead of the Songs from Ireland tour, to do two shows with the wonderful David Hope over that weekend. I took a day out to go skiing before the gang for the Songs tour arrived on the Wednesday. We kicked off the tour in Dubendorf, followed by Schafhausen, Bern, Grueningen and Mels – playing to full houses! The response was amazing, people loved it, and we even got presented with beautiful roses on one of the nights! I managed to squeeze in a guest slot with Duach in Rueti and a music shop gig with Nicole in Ark Guitars, Wetzikon, and a gig with Mark in Kafi Nabedra before it was time to come home!
